A European toolkit to design, orchestrate and deploy intelligent travel agents. Built on the EONA-X data space, engineered for the entire mobility and tourism ecosystem.
Gen4Travel was selected as a winner of the "Supporting the use of generative AI in the economy" call for projects under the France 2030 plan, operated by BPI France.
Travel has an agent problem. Generative models read, summarise and suggest — but can they book, rebook and coordinate across Air France, SNCF, Accor, ADP and dozens of other providers in real time? That's the actionability gap we close.
We are building a toolkit — a Travel Assistant Maker — that any European tourism, mobility or hospitality actor can use to deploy its own intelligent AI assistant. Not a chatbot, not a recommendation engine: autonomous agents that operate on the real world, with consent, trust and regulatory compliance built in.
The platform is built on the EONA-X data space, orchestrated through open-source protocols, and grounded in a sovereign foundation model. Its architecture — the Gen4All principle — is deliberately sector-agnostic: health, energy and other verticals can replicate it.
France and the European Union. Designed for cross-border travel workflows with full eIDAS-compliant identity.
Generic infrastructure. Agent orchestration and open-source protocols adapt to any sector via its Data Space.
An industrial-grade, production-ready system fully developed and qualified within a 24-month build.
Gen4Travel ships an open-source middleware that sits between the frontend applications of our consortium members and the EONA-X data space. No lock-in. Any provider in the ecosystem can plug in, consume or offer services via standard connectors.
